Canandaiga Outlet Handicap Fishing Platform at Budd Park Update
Our handicap fishing platform project was completed at Budd Park, Shortsville, NY. The location is near the "dog park" parking area. We completed the platform August 10, 2019. The village of Shortsville has added a concrete sidewalk. For information call 315-651-1557 or email email@example.com
Local streams have been stocked with trout for the season as follows: Canandaigua Outlet with brown trout, including Budd Park in Shortsville and the Ward property, County Road 25 (last year all stocked with brook trout due to a hatchery brown trout desease), Keuka Outlet with brown trout, and Canoga Creek with brook trout. All stockings were performed by DEC personnel. Volunteers were not allowed due to the Covid19 pandemic.
Our meeting location, the Seneca Meadows Education Center, has been closed for the past year due to the Covid19 pandemic. We are awaiting information when it may become available so we can start meeting again.
The Finger Lakes Chapter meets on the first Wednesday of most months.
We welcome prospective members.
